Two hot air balloons that took off from Ihlara Valley in Aksaray experienced an accident. In the incident near the village of Gözlukuyu, one balloon pilot fell from the basket due to his feet getting tangled in the ropes and lost his life, while 19 Indonesian tourists were injured. In another accident, 12 Indian tourists who were slightly injured were taken to hospitals.

Two hot air balloons took off in the Ihlara Valley, one of the tourist areas of the region, and after a while, they crashed in the Gözlü Kuyu area.

2 OF THE INJURED ARE IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Upon notification, a large number of gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area. According to initial reports, 1 person lost their life, and 19 people were injured, 2 of whom are in critical condition.

THE BALLOON PILOT LOST HIS LIFE

It was reported that the deceased was one of the balloon pilots, Hüseyin Türk. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
