A man jumped into the sea to save a woman who had fallen into the water at Bebek beach in Istanbul, and two other people also disappeared among the waves. It has been revealed that the individuals who have been searched for in the sea for two days are siblings.

On November 23, around 18:06, the Coast Guard Command, Marine Police, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), and Fire Department Underwater Search and Rescue teams are continuing their efforts to find two people who went missing in the sea in Beşiktaş Bebek Neighborhood, Cevdet Paşa Street. As a result of the investigations by the police teams, the identities of the individuals who fell into the sea were determined. It was understood that Velat C. (23), who jumped into the water to save Ayşe C. (29), who fell into the sea, was the woman's brother. It was learned that the identities of the two individuals were identified after their parents, who had not heard from them for a while, reported the situation to the police. As a result of the police investigation, it was determined that Velat C. and Ayşe C. resided in Spain, where they had settled with their parents 15 years ago, and were involved in the restaurant business.

The duo, who came to Diyarbakır for vacation on November 14, was found to have come to Istanbul from Diyarbakır and stayed in a hotel in Sarıyer because they would return to Spain with their family on November 25. After the news broke, the family filed a missing persons report at the police station, suspecting that the individuals who fell into the sea could be their children, whom they had not heard from for two days. Diver teams are continuing their search efforts to find the missing siblings.

A woman walking on the Beşiktaş Bebek beach on Saturday, November 23, fell into the sea while taking a photo, and the person next to her jumped into the water to save her. After a while, the two individuals went missing, and the Coast Guard, Marine Police, and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) divers were dispatched to the scene. Later, the identities of Ayşe C. and Velat C., who went missing in the sea, were identified, and it was learned that the two were siblings. The incident was recorded by the security camera of a boat.
