The Philippine Air Force announced that a 'Super Huey' military helicopter crashed in the Agusan del Sur province on Mindanao Island in the southern part of the country.
SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS INITIATED
In a statement made by the Philippine Air Force (PAF), it was reported that the helicopter was one of four helicopters that took off from Davao to Butuan for the assessment of damage caused by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) and needs identification, and that communication was lost. Following this, it was noted that search and rescue operations were immediately initiated.
