LOST CONSCIOUSNESS AFTER CHEST PAIN

Fifteen-year-old Yuleidy Ixcotoyac, who lives in the village of El Jocote in the city of Sacapulas in Guatemala's Quiché department, became ill after feeling severe pain in her chest.

The girl's father, Abraham Ixcotoyac, said that he put his daughter in the car to take her to the hospital, but she lost consciousness during the journey.

Father Ixcotoyac stated that his daughter was not breathing and he could not feel her pulse, and said he thought she had died.

HER FAMILY BOUGHT A COFFIN AND BEGAN FUNERAL PREPARATIONS

Believing his daughter had died, the father returned home without reaching the hospital. The family bought a coffin for Yuleidy and began funeral preparations. The young girl's relatives and neighbors gathered at the house to say goodbye one last time. Yuleidy's body, believed to be lifeless, was placed in the coffin. However, an unexpected development occurred during the funeral.

HER MOTHER NOTICED MOVEMENT IN THE COFFIN

Yuleidy's mother, Lesvia Ríos, noticed movement while crying by her daughter's coffin.

Looking at her daughter through the coffin's small window, the mother saw that Yuleidy was moving and informed her relatives.

After the family opened the coffin, the young girl opened her eyes and sat up. It was stated that Yuleidy, who began reacting to those around her, asked for water.

While her relatives were greatly astonished, they helped take the young girl out of the coffin.

Some local news reports said that Yuleidy remained in the coffin for about eight hours.

THE MOMENTS SHE SAT UP INSIDE THE COFFIN ON CAMERA

What happened at the young girl's funeral was recorded with a mobile phone camera.

In the footage, Yuleidy was seen moving inside the coffin and those around her trying to help her.

Her family described what happened as a miracle.

THE 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL TOLD WHAT SHE EXPERIENCED

Speaking to local media after the incident, Yuleidy Ixcotoyac said she felt severe pain in her chest before losing consciousness.

The young girl, stating that she felt heaviness in the area where her heart is located, recounted that she then fainted and does not remember what happened.

Yuleidy thanked her family and relatives who helped her.

IT EMERGED THAT HER DEATH WAS NOT CONFIRMED BY A DOCTOR

After the incident, it emerged that there was no medical evidence that the young girl had actually died and come back to life. According to her father's account, Yuleidy was taken back home without being taken to the hospital. Therefore, it was understood that her death was not determined by a doctor.

Why the young girl remained unresponsive for a long time and how she regained consciousness has not yet been clarified. No official statement was made by Guatemalan health authorities regarding the medical cause of the incident either.
