University students are receiving a grant support of 120 million TL.

The General Director of Youth Services of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Enes Efendioğlu, announced that a total of 120 million TL in grant support will be provided to student communities throughout the year under the University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES).

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has implemented the ÜNİDES program to contribute to the personal and social development of young people. It was stated that a total of 120 million TL in grant support will be provided to university student communities throughout the year.

Meeting with representatives of student communities at the Youth Office at Kırıkkale University, General Director of Youth Services Dr. Enes Efendioğlu explained the details of the program. Efendioğlu emphasized the importance of the opportunities provided by ÜNİDES, stating that support for students' projects will continue to increase.

During the meeting, the Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, Hamza Güneş, was also present. It was expressed that grant support ranging from 20,000 to 50,000 TL will be provided for local projects and from 50,000 to 100,000 TL for national projects. It was emphasized that the aim is to support young people's personal and social development through financial assistance while bringing their projects to life with ÜNİDES.

"WE DISCUSSED ÜNİDES"

After the program, Efendioğlu stated in a statement to İHA that a budget of 30 million TL has been allocated for each application period. He explained that he provided information about the ÜNİDES program to the youth, saying, "We came together with young friends from different departments at Kırıkkale University at the Youth Office. We discussed the University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program, also known as the ÜNİDES program, which our ministry has recently implemented. We talked about ÜNİDES with our young people who study in different departments at universities and also participate in various social activities," he said.

Efendioğlu explained that the ministry places great importance on the personal development of young people, stating, "As a ministry, we attach great importance to ensuring that our youth can develop themselves and improve in various ways. For this reason, we implemented the ÜNİDES program. With this program launched by our Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Osman Aşkın Bak, we receive project applications from our student communities during four application periods throughout the year. We are providing a total budget of 120 million TL for our young people and student communities to use, with 30 million TL allocated for each application period. With this budget, our youth can present any project and idea they wish to implement together with their communities to our ministry. Project applications are evaluated by experts in our ministry, and we support the implementation of projects through the Youth Offices located on university campuses. By meeting the financial needs of the projects, we contribute to the personal development of our youth through these projects," he said.

"ÜNİDES IS PRESENT IN MOST OF OUR STATE UNIVERSITIES IN TURKEY"

Efendioğlu also drew attention to the importance of the Youth Offices operating in state universities across Turkey, stating, "We especially invite our students to our Youth Offices located within universities. Youth Offices are centers where our youth can efficiently utilize their free time, spend their breaks productively, and participate in academic content and career motivation activities that will support their career journeys. They are currently present in almost all of our state universities in Turkey," he said.

Efendioğlu invited young people to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Youth Offices, saying, "The more our youth benefit, the happier we will be as the Ministry of Youth and Sports."
