US President Joe Biden withdrew his candidacy.

Due to his advancing age, US President Joe Biden, who was asked to withdraw his candidacy, has made his decision. Biden announced that he is withdrawing from the candidacy before the elections on November 5th. Biden stated, "I had the intention to compete for re-election, but I have decided that it is best for my party and my country to withdraw. For the remaining time, I will only focus on my presidential duties."

The Democratic candidate for the US President, Joe Biden, who was asked to withdraw from the candidacy due to his advancing age, has made his decision. Biden announced that he is withdrawing from the candidacy before the elections on November 5th.

Concerns about Biden's age and mental health led to a call from 34 Democrats to "withdraw from the presidential race". So far, a total of 4 of them being members of Congress and 30 being members of the House of Representatives have called for 81-year-old Biden to withdraw from the race.
