The Dow lost 6 points to 21,076 points, and the S&P 500 fell 1 point to 2,413 points. The Nasdaq decreased 5 points to open at 6,200 points.
The stock market opened lower despite positive macroeconomic data.
American economy's growth rate for the first quarter of the year was revised to 1.2 percent, from 0.7 percent, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced earlier.
The market will be closed on Monday for Memorial Day. -
