OFFICIALS CALL IT A 'TARGETED ATTACK'
In the incident described by officials as a "targeted attack," it was noted that the street where the collision center is located was closed to traffic due to the fire, and evidence collection is still ongoing.
Deputy Sheriff Dori Koren stated in a press release that one of the callers who contacted the police center reported hearing "gunshots and seeing a person in black clothing setting the cars on fire."
"THOUGHT TO HAVE ATTACKED WITH MOLOTOV COCKTAILS"
Koren, stating that the investigation is not yet complete, said, "However, the police believe that a person dressed entirely in black attacked the service center with Molotov cocktails and a firearm. Additionally, an unused Molotov cocktail was also seized."
Koren shared information that at least 5 Tesla vehicles were set on fire, 3 shots were fired at the cars, and the attacker spray-painted "resist" on the front doors of the vehicles.
