Villagers who went fishing in the Cide district of Kastamonu found a male corpse shot with a gun by the stream. The suspect, who was determined to have killed 28-year-old Fethi Yılmaz by shooting him in the back with a shotgun due to a feud between them, was caught by gendarmerie teams and referred to the courthouse.

Citizens who went down to the riverside to fish in the Cide district of Kastamonu encountered a dead male body shot with a shotgun. Examinations revealed that the lifeless body belonged to 28-year-old Fethi Yılmaz, and the murder suspect was quickly apprehended.

The incident occurred in the Doğankaya village of the Cide district. According to the information obtained, villagers who went down to the riverside to fish noticed a person lying motionless on the ground and immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, gendarmerie and health teams were quickly dispatched to the area. In the initial examination by health teams, it was determined that the person lying on the ground had lost his life.

It was determined that the deceased individual was 28-year-old Fethi Yılmaz, and the body was removed to the Kastamonu Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to clarify the definitive cause of death.

4 SHOTS FIRED

Following the incident, gendarmerie teams launched a comprehensive investigation and determined that there was a long-standing feud between Fethi Yılmaz and 29-year-old Tuncay Kara. According to the allegation, in the argument that started between the parties who encountered each other by the riverbank, Tuncay Kara fired 4 shots at Yılmaz with the shotgun he had brought with him. Yılmaz died at the scene as a result of 2 of the pellets from the shotgun hitting his back.

MURDER SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

As a result of the teams' rapid pursuit, murder suspect Tuncay Kara was quickly caught and taken into custody.
