Wall Street closed higher Wednesday after the Federal Reserve released minutes from its May meeting.
The Dow added six points to end trading at 20,944 and the Nasdaq rose 13 points to 6,152.
The S&P increased two points to hit 2,401 -- a new record.
The Fed said a rate hike may come "soon", according to the minutes.
The central bank added that it will begin winding down its balance sheet at the end of this year.
The gradual approach is expected to prevent any surprises in the markets, according to experts. -
