Warning from the US regarding Israel-Hezbollah tension: It could escalate into a regional war.

After the intensification of clashes between Israeli soldiers and Hezbollah, a critical statement came from the US. The Washington administration expressed concern about the increased attacks by Hezbollah through Lebanon, warning that the situation could lead to a regional war.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who pointed out the risk of the war between Hezbollah and Israel turning into a regional war, emphasized the importance of a diplomatic solution regarding the issue.



Austin, who expressed concern about the attacks increased by Hezbollah from Lebanon, stated in his statement, "We attach importance to a diplomatic solution to stop the tension on both sides of the Lebanon-Israel border. A war between Israel and Hezbollah can easily turn into a regional war."



MINISTER FİDAN HAD INDICATED THE RISK OF WORLD WAR III



Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had stated that Israel's massacres in Gaza and the Russia-Ukraine war could lead to World War III, saying, "The world should take this scenario seriously, there is such a risk."

In response to the attacks by Hamas' military wing, the Kassam Brigades, on October 7, Israel's genocidal bombings in Gaza resulted in the death of nearly 38,000 Palestinians.



In response to Israel's attacks, Hezbollah, operating in Lebanon, also took action. While attacks intensified over the past few days along the Lebanon border, the Iran-backed armed group is demanding an end to attacks on Gaza in exchange for stopping their attacks on Israel.
