In Istanbul, Hande S., who met her friend Muhammed K. at a hotel, stated that her friend, who was under the influence of drugs, tried to rape her and she fainted in fear and had an epileptic seizure to escape from the incident. Muhammed K., who was accused of rape and assault, denied the accusations, saying, "I did not assault or rape her, I helped her so she wouldn't die. I was the one who informed the reception."

The incident took place in a famous hotel in Beşiktaş Etiler on June 9th around 03:00. Muhammet Emin K., a jeweler in Kapalı Çarşı, arrived at the hotel with his cousin, 41-year-old businessman Yücel İ., and their girlfriends around 02:00. While the group was having fun, Hande Hazal S., the owner of a beauty center, saw a post by her ex-boyfriend Yücel İ. on her social media account and told him that she wanted to join them.

INTRODUCED HER EX-GIRLFRIEND TO HER COUSIN

At first, Yücel İ. denied this request, but he had to accept it due to the woman's insistence. After that, Yücel İ. asked his cousin Muhammet Emin K. to meet the woman in the lobby and spend time with her because he was having fun with his girlfriends.

Muhammet Emin K., who met the woman when she arrived at the hotel about 1 hour later, went up to the room with her after they took the elevator and had fun at the bar for about 2 hours. The couple then started drinking alcohol and using drugs inside the room. About 5 hours later, the woman lost consciousness due to an epileptic seizure caused by the drugs.

INTERVENED TO PREVENT HER FROM CHOKING

Panicking, Muhammet Emin K. put his hand in the woman's mouth to prevent her tongue from choking. He also called the reception and told them that his girlfriend had fainted and asked them to call the health team. After a while, health teams arrived at the door and, with the help of hotel staff, opened the door and entered the room. The health team provided initial treatment to the woman in the room, then took her to the ambulance with a wheelchair and transported her to the hospital. It was reported that the young woman's condition was good. Hande Hazal S., who regained consciousness, went to the prosecutor's office and filed a complaint against Muhammet Emin K. for assault and rape.

YOUNG WOMAN CLAIMED THAT HE TRIED TO RAPE HER

Hande S. stated that Muhammet K., under the influence of drugs, changed his behavior and attacked her, trying to take off her bathrobe and rape her. She also mentioned that she had an epileptic seizure due to the stress and fear she experienced. She said that she fainted for a while and when she regained consciousness, she saw the hotel security and a nurse next to her.

Following the complaint, the Beşiktaş police took action and detained Muhammet Emin K., who was at the center of the allegations. During his statement at the police station, K. said that he did not assault or attempt to rape Hande Hazal S., and that she took off her clothes herself and put on a bathrobe. He also stated that they drank alcohol and used drugs together, but he did not attempt to rape her.

In his statement, he further explained that the woman had an epileptic seizure due to the effects of alcohol and drugs, and when she lost consciousness, he panicked and put his hand in her mouth to prevent her from choking. He also informed the reception and said that the woman was making false accusations against him and denied the allegations.

CAME IN WITH CLOTHES, LEFT WITH A BATHROBE

After the statements, the Beşiktaş police, who were investigating the incident, examined the hotel's cameras. In their investigation, they found that Hande Hazal S. and Muhammet Emin K. met and took the elevator around 03:00, entered the hotel room around 05:00, health teams and hotel staff arrived around 10:00, and when the woman entered the hotel room, she was wearing clothes but was wearing a bathrobe when she was taken away by the health team.

RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL

Muhammet Emin K., whose procedures were completed at the police station, was referred to the courthouse on charges of "sexual harassment," "intentional injury," and "drug use." After appearing in court, K. was released under judicial control to be tried without detention. Meanwhile, the incident was captured on security cameras.
