In the Andırın district of Kahramanmaraş, a man who had a feud over a field saw women collecting olives in the garden, first stripped off his clothes, then hurled insults and approached them. The women, shocked to see the man in front of them, recounted the incident.

TRIED TO BLOCK WITH A STICK

In the Kızık neighborhood of Andırın, a feud arose between Ramazan G. and his relative Gülsüm Arslantaş over an inherited olive grove. There were occasional arguments between Ramazan G., who claimed the garden belonged to him, and the Arslantaş family, and both parties had filed complaints against each other. On the day of the incident, Gülsüm Arslantaş went to the olive grove to collect olives, accompanied by her son Yusuf Arslantaş and neighbors Hava Arslantaş, Fatma Karalı, and Fatma Uçar. After a while, Ramazan G. approached them and demanded that the women leave the olive grove. When the conversation turned into an argument, Ramazan G. suddenly stripped off his shirt and pants, hurling insults and began to attack Gülsüm Arslantaş. The women, taken aback, were initially in shock, while Yusuf Arslantaş tried to intervene. Gülsüm Arslantaş attempted to fend off Ramazan G. with a stick. All these moments were captured on a mobile phone camera.

"I HAVE NO PERSONAL SAFETY"

After the incident, Gülsüm Arslantaş stated that she lost her husband in the February 6 earthquake, saying, "We were collecting olives. He came like a human and said 'good luck.' Then he suddenly started to strip. He said, 'Get out of here.' I said, 'I won't leave, I planted these trees.' He wanted to take this place by force. We didn't understand what was happening; he suddenly took off his clothes and approached us. My son intervened, saying 'stop, mom.' Then he started on the other women. My husband passed away in the February 6 earthquake. Since then, he has been progressively escalating. He built an animal barn right next to our house. He doesn't let us go outside; I have no personal safety. I live alone. Is there any man who does this by stripping? Is this something that has been seen or heard?" Hava Arslantaş, Fatma Karalı, and Fatma Uçar also stated that Ramazan G. insulted them and approached them while stripping, and they filed a complaint against him. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
