In the Yağlıdere district of Giresun, an uncle and his nephew who entered a stream to fish were caught by a sudden rise in water. While the nephew was reached, it was stated that search efforts for the uncle would resume in the morning. According to the information obtained, uncle Sedat Çelik (54) and his nephew Sedat Çelik (24), who were fishing by casting a net in the Yağlıdere Stream in the Kanlıca village of Yağlıdere district, were swept away by the suddenly rising water.
SEARCH EFFORTS FOR THE UNCLE CONTINUE
Upon the notification, numerous 112 Emergency Health, fire brigade, AFAD, and security teams were dispatched to the area. As a result of the teams' efforts in challenging weather and terrain conditions, the nephew Sedat Çelik was removed from the water with the help of construction machinery and taken to the morgue of Yağlıdere State Hospital. Due to weather conditions and the high water flow, it was stated that search efforts for the uncle Sedat Çelik would resume at daybreak.
