Celal Türkaslan, a second-year student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, lost his life after falling from the elevator shaft of a construction site in Kocaeli, where he went to work to cover his school expenses.

Celal Türkaslan, a second-year student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at EBYÜ, lost his life in a workplace accident during the ongoing school construction in Körfez İlimtepe, Kocaeli, after falling from the elevator shaft on the 4th floor. The news of Türkaslan's death deeply saddened Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM THE RECTOR

Prof. Dr. Akın Levent, the rector of EBYÜ, published a condolence message stating, "We have learned with deep sorrow about the passing of our second-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student, Celal Türkaslan. His funeral will be held in the Cücün neighborhood of Tomarza district in Kayseri. We pray for the deceased student and wish patience and condolences to his grieving family, friends, and the entire EBYÜ community. May his place be paradise."
