WHAT HAPPENED?
The "C130" military cargo plane belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces, carrying 20 personnel, crashed on November 11 at the Azerbaijan-Georgia border. Search operations were initiated in the area where the plane crashed.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated in a recent announcement, "The black box of our plane has been found, and investigations have begun. We have reached the remains of 19 of our martyrs. Our search for the last remains continues."
In a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, it was announced that the last martyr's remains had been reached as a result of the search operations.
The remains of our martyred soldiers were brought to Turkey today by a Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) "A400M" military cargo plane.
