Meteorology expert Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen stated the following in his shares regarding the weather forecast: "Today, Friday, heavy rain will continue in the eastern districts of Antalya. There will be light rain in the Aegean coast, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and the central and eastern Black Sea regions.
From noon onwards, strong southwesterly winds will start again in the inner parts of Marmara and Aegean, as well as the central and eastern Black Sea. The temperature will not change. Early Saturday morning, cold and very heavy rainy weather will enter from Thrace. The wind will shift to a northwesterly direction and will cause a sudden drop in temperatures by 10-12 degrees. There will be water floods causing heavy rainfall in Thrace, Istanbul, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, İzmir, Aydın, and Muğla.
WILL IT SNOW IN ISTANBUL?
The cold and rainy weather expected tomorrow will cause snowfall in the inner parts of Central Anatolia, the central and western Black Sea regions, and Eastern Anatolia on Saturday evening and on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. There will be no snow in Istanbul. The temperature will drop to 11 degrees in İzmir, 7 degrees in Istanbul, and 2 degrees in Ankara."
