With the announcement published by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the revaluation rate for the year 2024 has been determined to be 43.93%. As a result, the fees for passports and the amount of the exit fee for traveling abroad have also changed.

The revaluation rate has been determined as 43.93% for 2024. The General Communiqué of the Tax Procedure Law prepared by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has been published in the Official Gazette.

Along with the revaluation rate, the passport fees and the amount of the exit fee for going abroad to be applied in 2025 have also changed. According to the laws, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has the authority to increase or decrease the revaluation rate by 50%. If the President does not exercise his authority to reduce, the passport fees and exit fees for going abroad will be as follows:

HOW MUCH WILL THE PASSPORT FEES BE IN 2025?

- Up to 6 months: 2,359 TL (Old amount: 1,639 TL)

- 1 year: 3,448 TL (Old amount: 2,396 TL)

- 2 years: 5,631 TL (Old amount: 3,912 TL)

- 3 years: 8,000 TL (Old amount: 5,558 TL)

- More than 3 years: 11,274 TL (Old amount: 7,833 TL)

HOW MUCH WILL THE EXIT FEE FOR GOING ABROAD BE?

The exit fee for going abroad has increased from 500 TL to 719.7 TL.
