Wolf attacks in India: 10 people have lost their lives in the past 49 days.

With the recent death of a 3-year-old child in the latest attack by a pack of wolves in the Uttar Pradesh state of India, the number of casualties in the region has risen to 10 in the past 49 days.

According to the Hindustan Times newspaper, wolf attacks have been occurring in the Bahraich region of the state for the past 49 days. In the latest attack by a pack of wolves in the Tepra village, a 3-year-old girl lost her life, and 4 people, including a child and 2 women, were injured.

DEATH TOLL RISES TO 10 IN WOLF ATTACKS

Efforts are being made to remove the pack of wolves that have killed 9 children and one woman in the past 49 days from the region. Officials have so far captured 4 wolves and are using unmanned aerial vehicles and thermal cameras to locate the animals.

Due to the hot weather, officials have asked the residents of Bahraich, who sleep outside at night, to sleep indoors until all the wolves are captured. The local community, who have been battling the wolves for about 1.5 months, have started patrolling at night to protect themselves. Residents have reported that a large number of wolves roam the area and attack children at night.
