The water level at Gökçe Dam, the water source of Yalova, has dropped to around 20%. The dam, which is the only drinking water source for the city, has 43 days' worth of water left.

WATER LEVEL HAS DROPPED TO 20%

According to information obtained from the Green Gulf Water Union, the water level at Gökçe Dam, which meets the city's daily water needs of 100,000 cubic meters, has dropped to around 20%.

In measurements taken in November 2023, the water level was at 35%, but it has decreased this year due to insufficient rainfall.

It has been stated that the dam, which is the only drinking water source for the city, has 43 days' worth of water left, and citizens have been warned to use water sparingly.
