In the Karacabey district of Bursa, the Nazlı stork, believed to be the mate of the Yaren stork known for returning to its nest every spring, also reached the nest in the evening hours. The reunion, which took place after a long and challenging migratory journey, was captured by nature photographer Alper Tüydeş and shared on social media.
Yaren, known for his friendship with fisherman Adem Yılmaz in the Karacabey district of Bursa, was joined by his mate Nazlı the stork, who reached their nest in the evening hours. Thus, the long-awaited reunion took place.
Despite the cold and windy weather, it was observed that Nazlı the stork, after a long journey, was quite tired upon reaching Marmara. As soon as she arrived at the nest, her need to rest for a long time revealed the challenges of the arduous migration journey.
REUNION WITH "LAK LAK" IN THE NEST
As soon as Nazlı the stork arrived at the nest, Yaren immediately noticed her. It was seen that the two greeted each other with "lak lak" for a long time in the nest, almost catching up on their longing.
REUNION MOMENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA
The moment of reunion was captured by nature photographer Alper Tüydeş. Tüydeş shared the moment of Yaren and Nazlı's meeting on his social media account, announcing it to his followers.
"THERE IS A POSSIBILITY IT COULD BE ANOTHER STORK"
Tüydeş mentioned that the stork arriving at the nest might not be Nazlı, saying, "There is a slight possibility that the one who has come could be another stork, friends. We will understand this better in the coming days. I think we all experienced this year that we should never forget the possibility of the opposite."
