You didn't hear it wrong! 43-year-old Guiza signed with a 3rd division team.

43-year-old Daniel Güiza, who previously wore the Fenerbahçe jersey, has signed a contract with the Spanish 3rd division team UD Rotena.

The Spanish forward, who also played for Fenerbahçe at one point and will turn 44 on August 17th, has signed a 1-year contract with UD Rotena, one of the Spanish 3rd division teams.

In a written statement, UD Rotena Club said, "Güiza has come to strengthen the team's forward line. He will support us with his experience as a European champion and his goals. Welcome to your new home, Dani."

Güiza, who has played for 17 teams in his career as a footballer, transferred from Fenerbahçe to Getafe in Spain in the summer of 2011 and then played for teams in Malaysia and Paraguay.

After 2018, the Spanish footballer played for 2nd or 3rd division teams in the Andalusia region in southern Spain, where he was born.
