Describing her captaincy process, Güneş said, "It was one of my dreams, and it came true. I thank our president, our management, Giovanni, and Banu sister for crowning my dreams with such an award. When Giovanni first told me, I was very anxious. I was very tense, wondering if I could do it. It's a huge responsibility, in both success and failure... Actually, during this process, you need to give much more than what you receive. Because it is something that progresses under your leadership. You realize that you need to pay attention to yourself in some places. From the steps you take to the reactions you give... Being a captain makes you grow. They deemed me worthy of this because I am already this person. Nothing will change. There will just be more sacrifice than ever. They deemed me worthy of this, and I am very honored and proud.
