Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made striking statements by sharing images of North Korean soldiers captured in Russia's Kursk region. Zelensky said, "The world will learn how Russia is using these soldiers, who are growing in ignorance and are completely unaware of Ukraine." The video shared on the X social media platform shows moments of interrogation of one of the captured North Korean soldiers. Zelensky stated, "Ukrainian investigators continue to meet with the captured North Korean soldiers. We are uncovering the truths and all the details." The Security Service of Ukraine announced that necessary medical assistance has been provided to two North Korean soldiers who were captured injured in the clashes in the Kursk region, and that they are not in life-threatening condition. Interestingly, it was noted that one of the captured soldiers believed he went to Russia not to fight against Ukraine, but for training. Zelensky also called on Kim Jong-un, expressing that they are ready to send the North Korean soldiers back to their country if he organizes the exchange of Ukrainian soldiers held in Russia. Zelensky, stating that "Only Russia needs this war," expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian soldiers defending their country and to everyone supporting Ukraine.
