A Moroccan citizen, who is wanted with a red notice for allegedly sexually abusing 103 children in Spain, was caught at a hotel in Bodrum, Muğla. The suspect claimed to have come from Palestine, fleeing from war, and stated that he did not have a passport. However, his passport was found in a hidden compartment of his suitcase. The suspect has been sent to the Muğla Ula Removal Center.
The Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch and the Bodrum District Gendarmerie Command's Intelligence Branch teams identified Youness En Nacırı (36), who is alleged to have abused 103 children in Spain in 2019 and for whom a red notice was issued for the crime of "qualified sexual abuse of a child," as being in Bodrum.
ARRESTED AT THE HOTEL WHERE HE STAYED
Acting under the coordination of the Bodrum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the teams identified the hotel where the suspect was staying and began to monitor Nacırı. The suspect was arrested around 6:00 PM the day before yesterday.
HIS PASSPORT WAS FOUND IN A HIDDEN COMPARTMENT OF HIS SUITCASE
Claiming that he came from Palestine and fled from the war, Youness En Nacırı asserted that he did not have a passport. The suspect's passport was found in a hidden compartment of his suitcase, and after the necessary procedures were completed, Nacırı was sent to the Muğla Ula Removal Center. It was also noted that contact was made with the Spanish police.
