HE ASKED FOR HELP FROM NEIGHBORS
On Monday, July 27, around 03:00, in the Mustafa Kemal Paşa neighborhood, I.A. invited C.I., with whom he had been drinking, to his home. According to the allegations, I.A. attempted to harass the young man with whom he had dinner at home. Then, the young man attacked I.A. with a knife. The injured I.A. shouted for help from his neighbors.

The neighbors who came to help reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The police teams took security measures around the area and detained the young man. The injured I.A. was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention of the health teams. After his procedures at the police station, C.I. was referred to the courthouse on charges of 'attempted murder.' The police investigation into the incident is ongoing. Meanwhile, moments when the two entered the house together and the suspect was detained were captured on camera.

Building resident Erdoğan Özdemir said, "He was screaming to save me, so I got up. I thought he had fallen in the bathroom. No one was opening the door, and when I called on the phone, no one answered. This time, I was going to open the door in another way."
