In the Canik district of Samsun, 19-year-old Tekin Gönültaş, who was struck by a fallen tree he had cut down, died from severe injuries after being taken to the hospital. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the incident.
A 19-year-old young man lost his life after being crushed by a tree he had cut down in Samsun. The incident occurred in the rural Tekkiraz neighborhood of the Canik district. According to the information obtained, Tekin Gönültaş, who was cutting wood with a chainsaw in the riverbed, was seriously injured when the tree he had cut down fell on him.
DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS, HE COULD NOT BE SAVED
The young man, who was taken to a private hospital by ambulance after the incident was reported, lost his life despite all interventions. Gönültaş's lifeless body was sent to the Samsun Group Presidency of the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. Gendarmerie teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
