Two thieves who stole jewelry worth 600,000 Turkish lira from a house in Aksaray had an accident in the Karapınar district of Konya. One of the individuals died at the scene, while the other was arrested and sent to prison after receiving treatment at the hospital. The stolen jewelry has not been found.

In Aksaray, S.K. (38) and G.B. (35) entered a house in the Kurtuluş neighborhood last month and stole jewelry worth 600,000 lira. They then stole a vehicle in the Fatih neighborhood and disappeared.

REVEALED BY A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

An investigation was initiated regarding the incident under the coordination of the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Police teams working within the scope of the investigation identified the suspects' identities from security cameras. After a while, the police determined that the suspects had been involved in a traffic accident in the Karapınar district of Konya, where G.B. lost his life at the scene, and S.K. was receiving treatment in the hospital.

HEADING TO PRISON

After his treatment in the hospital, S.K. was referred to judicial authorities and was arrested by the court, being sent to prison. The stolen jewelry has not been found.
