The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the detention order for Ahmet Çakar has been lifted due to his health condition, that his treatment is ongoing, and that he has been instructed to be presented at the courthouse in accordance with his health status.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the detention order for Ahmet Çakar, who was among the 38 suspects detained in the betting investigation in football and brought to court, has been lifted due to his health condition, and that his treatment is ongoing. It was also stated that he was instructed to be presented in court according to his health status.

HE WAS HOSPITALIZED AND HAD AN ANGIOGRAPHY

Ahmet Çakar, who was detained on Friday, was taken to the hospital due to health issues experienced during the detention process. After initial evaluations, doctors decided that Çakar should undergo detailed examinations. It was learned that Ahmet Çakar underwent an angiography as a result of the checks conducted in the morning hours.

In operations carried out under the coordination of the Cyber Crimes Department of the Istanbul Police Department, 38 people, including former Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak, former referee and football commentator Ahmet Çakar, football player Mert Hakan Yandaş, Fenerbahçe Congress Member Ersen Dikmen, who is alleged to have placed bets on behalf of Yandaş, football player Metehan Baltacı, who received a penalty of deprivation of rights in a previous investigation, and TFF upper-class referee Zorbay Küçük, were detained. The suspects in custody were taken to Bayrampaşa State Hospital for a health check and then brought back to the Istanbul Provincial Police Department.
