As part of the March 10 agreement, the terrorist organization SDG, which was supposed to integrate into the Syrian army and whose granted time has expired, continues to take steps that will create chaos. The clashes that began after the PKK/YPG terrorist organization, using the name SDG in Syria, attacked civilian settlements and the Syrian army in Aleppo are ongoing. Due to the clashes, flights from Aleppo International Airport have been suspended for 24 hours, and operations in official institutions will be halted.
According to information obtained from local sources in Syria, clashes continue following attacks by the terrorist organization PKK/YPG on civilian settlements and military points belonging to the Syrian army in Aleppo during the afternoon hours.
The Syrian army is sending reinforcements of dozens of tanks and armored personnel carriers to the contact lines with PKK/YPG while retaliating against positions belonging to the terrorist organization. In the evening attack by PKK/YPG, another child lost their life.
FLIGHTS SUSPENDED AT ALEPPO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
In a written statement from the Syrian Civil Aviation and Air Transport Authority, it was reported that flights from Aleppo International Airport have been suspended for 24 hours due to the developments. The statement noted that flights to and from Aleppo have been temporarily halted to ensure the safety of passengers and flight crews, and that planned flights will be redirected to Damascus International Airport, with necessary technical and security assessments being carried out in coordination with the relevant institutions.
WORK AT OFFICIAL INSTITUTIONS WILL BE SUSPENDED
Aleppo Governor Azzam Garip announced on his social media account from the US-based X company that work at official institutions will be suspended tomorrow, and education in schools and universities will be interrupted. Garip stated, "Due to the current situation and the bombing of hospitals and institutions by the Syrian Democratic Forces, official working hours will be suspended tomorrow."
5 PEOPLE DIED, 16 CIVILIANS INJURED
In the attacks carried out by the terrorist organization during the day, a total of 5 people lost their lives, including 4 civilians and 1 member of the Syrian security forces, while 16 civilians, including 10 children, were injured. The PKK/YPG terrorist organization had launched an attack in the evening on the Al Kalima school in the New Syrian neighborhood and the Zahi Azrak Hospital in the Bustan al-Basha neighborhood.
STATEMENT FROM THE SYRIAN MINISTRY OF DEFENSE
In a written statement regarding the clashes, the Syrian Ministry of Defense noted that PKK/YPG has increased its attacks on army units and civilians in Aleppo on the third day. The statement emphasized that the organization is effectively violating the March 10 Agreement and is attempting to draw the army into an open war that it will define.
