A mutual exchange of the bodies of soldiers who lost their lives in the war between Russia and Ukraine has taken place. The bodies of 909 Ukrainian soldiers were received from Russia, while Russia received the bodies of 41 of its soldiers.

In a written statement from the Telegram account of the Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, it was stated that the bodies of 909 Ukrainian soldiers who died in the war were received from Russia.
In the statement, it was noted that the bodies of soldiers who lost their lives in the conflicts in Kurakhiv, Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Ugledar, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv were brought back to the country, and thanks were given to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for its support during the exchange process.
41 RUSSIAN BODIES HAVE RETURNED TO THEIR HOMELAND
Shamsail Saraliyev, a member of the coordination group of the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian Parliament, which deals with military operations, stated in an interview with the RBK newspaper that they received the bodies of 41 Russian soldiers from Ukraine.
