Hailey's husband, Matthew Okula, announced the news of her death in an emotional post. Nurse and social media influencer Hailey Okula tragically passed away due to complications during childbirth after finally welcoming her baby following a long struggle with infertility treatment.
Hailey, an emergency room nurse with 212,000 TikTok followers, had her death announced by her husband Matthew Okula on his Instagram account. In his emotional post, Matthew wrote:
"It is with great sadness that I must announce the passing of my beloved wife Hailey Marie Okula due to complications during childbirth. I cannot find the words to express the depth of my loss. Hailey was so much more than I could have ever imagined as a wife. She was beautiful, intelligent, hardworking, passionate, and incredibly loyal."
Matthew stated that Hailey was the center of his life for the past 13 years. The couple had struggled for a long time to have a child. Hailey openly shared her infertility issues and the IVF process on her TikTok account.
"After years of battling infertility and going through a challenging IVF process, we were so happy when we started expecting our baby, whom we named Crew," Matthew added. "Hailey faced every challenge with great courage and love. Even though her body was under immense strain, she never gave up."
Matthew also shared that when he became emotional one day and apologized for his wife's sacrifices, Hailey hugged him and said, "We are a team, and we will get through this together."
