In Aydın's Yenipazar district, a couple, Kemal and Sevim Çobanoğlu, lost their lives as a result of a car that went out of control crashing into the barriers.
Two people lost their lives in a traffic accident that occurred when a car, which lost control, crashed into the barriers in Aydın's Yenipazar district.
TRAPPED IN THE VEHICLE THAT CRASHED INTO THE BARRIERS
The accident occurred on the Aydın-Denizli Highway in the Yenipazar district during the afternoon hours. According to the information obtained, the Nissan brand car with license plate 09 AIH 858, driven by Kemal Çobanoğlu (62), swerved after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The vehicle, which overturned after hitting the barriers, trapped the driver Kemal Çobanoğlu and the passenger Sevim Çobanoğlu (61) inside.
ELDERLY COUPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
Those who witnessed the accident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. The health teams, who arrived at the scene shortly, determined that the individuals trapped inside the vehicle had lost their lives. The lifeless bodies of the two individuals were removed by the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department teams. The lifeless bodies of the Çobanoğlu couple were taken to the hospital morgue.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
