Ercan, who said, "The earthquake either dragged or broke the ground about 25 kilometers," added, "While it should normally head east and west, it has only moved towards Istanbul. It is currently shifting towards Istanbul. This earthquake, which started from the Trakya Eskişehir fault, reached the Büyükçekmece Çatalca fault.
