A middle school student in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, picked up a Turkish flag he saw on the ground and placed it by the window. Allegedly, as the flag fell due to the wind, a female officer choked the student and assaulted him. The child's family obtained a medical report for the assault and filed a complaint against the officer.
It was claimed that a 10-year-old student in Küçükçekmece was assaulted by a female officer after the Turkish flag he placed by the window fell down due to the wind.
CLAIM OF "ASSAULTED WHEN THE FLAG FELL DOWN"
The incident occurred yesterday at Kadriye Moroğlu Middle School in Küçükçekmece. According to the claim, middle school student M.E.D. (10) picked up the Turkish flag he saw on the floor in the classroom and placed it in front of the window. The Turkish flag fell down from the window due to the wind.
THE STUDENT'S FAMILY FILED A COMPLAINT
The female officer D.B. who came to the classroom assaulted the student by choking him. M.E.B. was too scared to explain the incident, while his family, who learned about the situation from the other children, obtained a medical report from the hospital and filed a complaint against the female officer.
"SHE CHOKED ME AND PUSHED ME TO THE GROUND"
The student named M.E.D. said, "I saw the flag on the floor in the classroom. Then I picked it up and placed it on the window. No one was showing respect; they were stepping on it. The flag fell down from the window. The officer came and choked me, pushing me to the ground. I was scared because the officer hit me, and I didn't explain the incident."
"WE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE"
The student's father, Saruhan D., said, "Yesterday, two children came and said, 'A female officer assaulted your child at school.' The child came to me, and I saw that his neck was bruised. I couldn't stand it, took him to the hospital to get a medical report, and we filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office."
