Documents released regarding billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in prison while awaiting trial on charges of establishing a sex trafficking network targeting underage girls in the U.S., revealed that Epstein paid Dr. Mark Landon, the Chair of the Department of Gynecology at Ohio State University, $25,000 every three months.

Details from the documents shared by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding the Epstein investigation continue to emerge in the public domain.

PAYING $25,000 TO A GYNECOLOGIST EVERY 3 MONTHS

The documents reveal that a person named "Eric" sent a message to Epstein on April 11, 2005, stating, "It's time to pay Dr. Landon $25,000 for the 3-month period, please confirm."

U.S. media indicated that Landon has been working at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, named after U.S. billionaire Les Wexner, who had a close relationship with Epstein, since 1987.

Landon, who worked as a doctor and professor at Ohio State University, also served as the head of the gynecology and obstetrics department. In addition to these messages, the documents show that Epstein sent at least 10 packages to Landon's address, although there is no information regarding the contents of these packages.

"CONSULTING SERVICE" DEFENSE

Landon stated in a related statement that he did not provide clinical services for Epstein or any victim, claiming that this payment was made for consulting services regarding potential biotechnology investments for Epstein's money management firm, New York Strategy Group.

Landon noted that he was unaware of Epstein's criminal activities at the time, stating that these should be condemned and expressing that he "feels very bad" for the victims.

"SCENE OF BABIES BEING KILLED" PAINTING

In an email found in the files, an assistant named Sarah Kellen inquired about the possibility of shipping a painting purchased by Epstein for his Zorro Ranch in New Mexico.

Kellen asked a person named Rich Barnett in a 2011 email if it was possible to ship Cornelis Cornelisz van Haarlem's painting titled "The Massacre of the Innocents" to the ranch. In the email describing the painting, Kellen used the phrase "scene of babies being killed."

The files also reveal that Epstein, who was arrested for establishing a prostitution ring, told a person named Sanita, "I gave Kimball another girl, he got very excited. I told him you preferred dark-eyed girls."

In the emails examined in the files, Ed Epstein asked Epstein's former girlfriend Ghislane Maxwell in 2003, referencing the date of the September 11 attacks, "Would you like to join the 9/11 Shadow Commission?" Maxwell rejected Epstein's offer.

THE JEFFREY EPSTEIN CASE

Epstein, who was charged with sexually abusing dozens of girls under the age of 18 and establishing a prostitution ring, was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York, on August 10, 2019.

The disclosed Epstein case files included famous names such as former Prince Andrew, U.S. President Donald Trump, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, actor Kevin Spacey, singer Michael Jackson, illusionist David Copperfield, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

The FBI also stated that, as a result of its investigation with the U.S. Department of Justice, there was no evidence that a "client list" of famous individuals was maintained, concluding that Epstein, who was alleged to have been murdered to cover up the crimes of individuals including government officials, celebrities, and businesspeople, actually committed suicide in his cell.
