Seventy-seven-year-old Yaşar Dumanlar was found dead near his home in Aydın, shot in the head. Gendarmerie teams are considering the possibility that the elderly man took his own life with his own weapon.
An elderly man, 77 years old, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head near his home in the Karacasu district of Aydın.
The incident occurred in the Kızılgöl area of Ataköy neighborhood. According to the information obtained, 77-year-old Yaşar Dumanlar, a father of 6 children, took the rifle from his home and went outside. Shortly after, his wife, hearing the gunshot, found Dumanlar shot in the head.
IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HE HAD DIED
Upon receiving a notification to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. The health teams that arrived at the scene determined that Dumanlar had lost his life during their checks.
SUICIDE POSSIBILITY IS BEING CONSIDERED
Dumanlar's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue after the scene investigation. According to the initial examinations conducted by the gendarmerie teams, it was learned that there is a possibility that Dumanlar ended his life with his own weapon. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
