DEMONSTRATION FOR "PALESTINE" IN GALATA
Under the leadership of the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), and under the umbrella of the Humanity Alliance and the National Will Platform, people gathered in front of the Hagia Sophia, the Sultanahmet Mosque, and the New Mosque in Eminönü, as well as the Fatih and Suleymaniye mosques, with the slogan "We will not be silent, we will not be quiet, we will not forget Palestine," and met at the Galata Bridge accompanied by slogans and takbirs.
520,000 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED
In the area where ministers, NGO representatives, and prominent figures gave speeches, some people participated in the demonstration with their children despite the cold weather. An announcement made by security officials in the area reported that 520 people participated in the demonstration. During the ongoing program, prayers were recited for the Palestinians from the podium set up in the area.
