It has been reported that the 73-year-old actor has a rent debt of $59,100. In the notice sent to Rourke, it was stated that the debt must be paid immediately or the house must be vacated within 3 days.

The campaign titled "Help Mickey Rourke Stay in His Home" on GoFundMe has set a goal of $100,000. It was reported that $1,500 was raised within the first 6 hours after the campaign started.
The campaign statement noted that Rourke is "facing a very difficult and urgent situation," stating, "Despite everything Mickey has given throughout his career and life, he is currently struggling with a challenging financial situation that puts his home at risk."
