The Ministry of Trade announced that heavy chemicals were detected in the products of two brands selling baby clothing. A recall decision has been made for the products of these two brands.
The Ministry of Trade has published a new list through the Unsafe Product Information System (GÜBİS). New products that have been banned from being placed on the market and recalled have been added to the list. Three companies from Bursa have also been included in this list.
CHEMICAL RISK FOUND IN BABY ONESIES
The Ministry issued a warning that particularly concerns parents of babies. It announced that the "Mini Pakel" brand baby onesie has been banned from the market and recalled due to chemical risks. It was stated that the product tested positive for "remaining" results.
"THE DRESS HAS A RISK OF INJURING CHILDREN"
The Ministry also published a warning regarding the "Le Mabellle" brand sequin children's dress. It was noted that the free-ended cord located at the neck area of the product is dangerous and that the dress poses a risk of injury to children. It was emphasized that the mentioned product will also be recalled and withdrawn from the market.
Ball-throwing guns produced in Bursa were another product listed. It was announced that these products have been banned from being placed on the market and will be recalled due to the risk of injury.
