MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli clarified his words about "püskevit," which became a topic of discussion years ago. Bahçeli stated, "I had wished to be the voice of the envious souls of children. In the dialect of my hometown Gavurdağ, I had said, 'Where is my püskevit, my chocolate?' I aimed to be the voice of the helpless and the lonely. Those who did not understand this had mocked the word püskevit with sarcastic expressions for weeks."
The leader of the MHP, Devlet Bahçeli, made important evaluations at the group meeting of his party in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Bahçeli clarified his earlier statement about 'püskevit' made years ago.
"THEY HAVE TURNED THIS EXPRESSION INTO A JOKE"
Stating that he wishes for Ramadan to pass in tranquility, Bahçeli said, "Let us be the speaking tongue, the hearing ear, and the touching hand of the poor and needy. Remember, years ago, I wanted to be the spokesperson for the innocent children of our homeland who look into their parents' eyes. I wished to be the interpreter of their envious souls. And in the dialect of my hometown, Gavurdağı, I said, 'Where is my püskevit, my chocolate?' Those who did not understand this speech back then mocked this expression for weeks with sarcastic remarks. It is unfortunate that our friends also could not grasp the depth of this expression. Mistakes are human. Let us be the voice of children and the elderly this Ramadan. As long as we share in their troubles, let us hear the call of children who do not have püskevit." he expressed.

"The heaviest crime against humanity of the last century has been committed in Gaza. The cries of an innocent, guiltless civilian population have not been heard enough. The arrogant and genocidal Israeli President and government have continued to violate human rights and deny justice and law.
The decision made by the Israeli government in the West Bank in recent days is not only a violation of international law but also a confirmation that the ongoing genocide is progressing through different channels. The claim to rights in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel is doomed to remain unfulfilled. The recent grave developments cast a shadow over peaceful steps.
“ISLAND OF STABILITY”
Turkey is the same at the table and in the field. Turkey stands out like an island of stability. Continuous diplomatic initiatives deserve appreciation and congratulations. Wherever there is a problem, Turkey is there. The reality of Turkey, which unhesitatingly embraces the political unity and sovereignty rights of countries, is a fortune for all of us. The steps of super-strong Turkey have begun to be heard.
US-IRAN NEGOTIATIONS
The US-Iran negotiations should progress. It is our hope that the negotiations do not break down and that there is consensus. Regional balances will also shake global balances.
There is no second option that will satisfy human conscience other than the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with geographical integrity and its capital in East Jerusalem based on the 1967 borders.
If we share, we will be full; if we divide, we will perish.
FEBRUARY 6 EARTHQUAKES

Attempting to obstruct a legal right is political banditry. How is acting like a madman democratic? Especially, how should we interpret the source of your discomfort regarding our newly appointed Minister of Justice? Your masks have fallen, and your threads have been exposed; is this the reason? What are you, who are you, who benefits from you? Does it align with the political line of the CHP? Those who cast a shadow on the dignity of the Grand National Assembly should know their limits. I condemn the CHP for tarnishing the dignity of the Grand National Assembly during the oath ceremony."
