One of the beloved names in Roman music, Ayhan Küçükboyacı, known by the nickname Balık Ayhan, passed away in the hospital where he was receiving treatment in Istanbul. Küçükboyacı was admitted to the hospital yesterday due to complaints of shortness of breath and was placed in intensive care. His daughter had made an urgent call for blood donations.

The famous figure, who was experiencing shortness of breath, was admitted to the intensive care unit. Küçükboyacı's daughter recently made a post on her Instagram account, calling for urgent blood donations for Balık Ayhan.

WHO IS BALIK AYHAN?

Balık Ayhan, whose real name is Ayhan Küçükboyacı, was born in 1967 in the Hacıhüsrev neighborhood of Kasımpaşa, Istanbul, and is a musician of Romani descent. Born as the youngest of eight children, Ayhan grew up in an environment intertwined with music. His interest in music began at a young age with the darbukas he made from tin cans, and he got his first real darbuka at the age of six.

Balık Ayhan stepped into his professional music career at the age of 16 at Galata Tower, becoming particularly well-known in the field of Romani music and appearing in various television programs. He entered the music market with his album "Yaşayan Ruhlar" released in 1992, and later became widely recognized with albums such as "İstanbul İmparatorları" and "Bab'ı İstanbul."

The artist has reached a wide audience with songs like "Bizim Mahalle" and "Kara Çalı Gibi." Additionally, he has appeared as an actor in films such as "Dansöz," "Ispanaktan Nağmeler," "Kehribar," and "Baba Bi Buçuk," and has also played a role in the series "Delikanlı." In his private life, Balık Ayhan is married to Emine Küçükboyacı, and they have a daughter named Şans from this marriage.
