In the Araklı district of Trabzon, bears waking up from hibernation and searching for food entered the summer house of Mayor Hüseyin Avni Coşkun Çebi, causing damage to the door, windows, and furniture.
After the harsh winter conditions in the highlands of Trabzon's Araklı district, bears waking from hibernation descended to Bahçecik Plateau in search of food.
DESTROYED AND SCATTERED THE ITEMS
The bears that entered the 1800-meter-high plateau house of Araklı Mayor Hüseyin Avni Coşkun Çebi damaged the doors and windows with their claws and teeth, scattering and breaking the items inside. The bears that entered through the window of Çebi's house caused damage to the materials in the kitchen. Residents who came to the area where the house is located in the morning noticed the situation and recorded those moments with their mobile phones.
"BEARS DON'T GET ANY SPECIAL TREATMENT"
Yalçın Çebi, a relative of Mayor Çebi, who noticed that the bears had ransacked the house, said, "They entered Coşkun's house. They tore this place apart and destroyed it. The bear brothers don't get any special treatment. They entered through the window and destroyed this place. The bear knows its job. They didn't come into my house because I throw them meat in the summer," he said.
