The Mayor of Afyonkarahisar, Burcu Köksal, expelled AK Party Council Member Mahmut Ekici from the hall by saying, "I warned you before. The head of the municipal police, take him out." Ekici responded, "You can't expel me, I'm leaving on my own."
In the Afyonkarahisar Municipality council meeting, during a heated discussion, Mayor Burcu Köksal expelled AK Party Council Member Mahmut Ekici from the hall for speaking without being granted the floor.
GAVE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE MUNICIPAL POLICE TEAMS
Köksal instructed the municipal police teams to remove Ekici, while a brief moment of tension occurred. As Ekici was leaving the hall, he responded, "You can't expel me, I'm leaving on my own."
"I'LL BREAK THAT FINGER"
In yesterday's session, CHP member Mustafa Karanfil, who was harsh towards Ekici, said, "Don't be rude, you can't talk to the mayor, sit down. You can't point your finger at the mayor. I'll break that finger of yours, you rude man."
