Former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who visited the hospital where Sırrı Süreyya Önder is receiving treatment and obtained information from the doctors, made a statement upon his exit. Kılıçdaroğlu said, "The doctors have extended the sedation period to 5 days, as stated. It is our common wish for him to recover as soon as possible."

Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu visited the hospital where TBMM Deputy Speaker and DEM Party Istanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder is receiving treatment. After Önder underwent surgery due to a heart condition, Kılıçdaroğlu arrived at the hospital in Şişli, where his treatment is ongoing, and told reporters afterward that he received information from doctors about Önder's health status.

Kılıçdaroğlu said, "The doctors expressed that there is a significant advantage in that his home is close to here, allowing him to arrive quickly, and that having two qualified specialists related to this matter at the hospital is a great advantage." he stated.

Kılıçdaroğlu noted that they wish for Önder to recover as soon as possible, saying, "The reason for the sedation is to help him recover more quickly. It was also stated that he has responded positively to certain things. Hopefully, he will get even better." he said.

TBMM Deputy Speaker, DEM Party Istanbul Deputy, and member of the Imralı Delegation Sırrı Süreyya Önder was hospitalized last night due to a heart condition. Önder was brought to a private hospital in Çağlayan, Istanbul, where he underwent surgery at 11:30 PM due to aortic rupture. Önder's surgery, which lasted approximately 12 hours, was completed early this morning. Önder, whose life status is critical, was then moved to intensive care.
