The Super League giant Galatasaray's president Dursun Özbek visited RAMS Park to inspect the ongoing works ahead of the match where Galatasaray will face Fenerbahçe at home this evening.

Dursun Özbek then made a statement on the official website. Özbek said, "This evening, we will open a new chapter in the century-old fierce rivalry by hosting Fenerbahçe at our home.
As Galatasaray Sports Club, we always wish for a derby where fair play and sportsmanship are prioritized, and only sports are discussed. However, we see the danger posed by the chaos and turmoil that Turkish football has recently been drawn into. The hostile attitude of certain groups towards Galatasaray, along with their provocative actions and statements, reveals their intention to drag us down a dangerous path that could lead to brother turning against brother.
Neither Galatasaray Sports Club nor any of the millions of fans who are wholeheartedly devoted to it will be a passenger on this road. Preserving the unity and integrity of our country and maintaining social peace will always be our top priority.
My request to all our fans coming to the match is to focus solely on our team without responding to any provocation.
