A denial has come from the Kayseri Governorate regarding the claim made by rock musician Hayko Cepkin that the concerts in Kayseri and Diyarbakır were canceled. The Kayseri Governorate stated that no application had been made regarding the concert.
The Kayseri Governorship announced that claims regarding the cancellation of Hayko Cepkin's concert are unfounded, stating that no application had been made to the governorship for this event.
KAYSERİ GOVERNORSHIP DENIES HAYKO CEPKİN
Hayko Cepkin, one of the famous names in rock music, announced that his concerts in Kayseri and Diyarbakır were canceled by the decision of the governorship. A denial came from the Kayseri Governorship regarding Cepkin. In the statement made by the governorship, it was noted that no application had been made to the governorship regarding the mentioned concert.
"NO APPLICATION WAS MADE FOR THE CONCERT"
The statement included, "On social media platforms, there are posts claiming that the event that artist Hayko Cepkin will hold in Kayseri has been canceled by the local administrative authorities. No application has been made to our Kayseri Governorship regarding this concert, and there is no situation regarding its cancellation."
A CALL FROM THE DİYARBAKIR GOVERNOR TO HAYKO CEPKİN
In Diyarbakır, however, a completely different situation occurred. Hayko Cepkin stated in his post that the Diyarbakır Governor called him and promised a new concert date. In his post, Cepkin expressed, "Thanks to our Diyarbakır governor for his prompt response, courtesy, and special invitation. We have agreed to resolve all the missing procedures with the organization. Whoever caused this confusion will probably be ashamed. We hope to set a new date for Diyarbakır. May the same happen for our Kayseri."
