Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that three suspects wanted internationally with red notices and two suspects wanted nationally were captured in Georgia and brought to Turkey.
Recently, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared details about a critical development with the public via his X account, following a series of successful operations.
Minister Yerlikaya announced that 5 suspects wanted with a red notice were captured in Georgia and brought to Turkey, stating; "We have brought 5 criminals wanted with a Red Notice to our country. They will not escape from us. During this cabinet term, we have ensured the extradition of 369 criminals to our country."
Individuals A.A.Y., A.D., and O.Ç., who are wanted internationally with a Red Notice, and İ.K. and G.Y., who are wanted nationally, were captured in Georgia and their extradition to our country was ensured.
In coordination with the Ministry of Justice and the General Directorate of Security Interpol Europol Department;
- A.A.Y., who is wanted internationally with a Red Notice for the crimes of "Qualified Sexual Abuse of a Child, Deprivation of Liberty by Using Coercion, Threat, or Fraud",
- A.D., who is wanted internationally with a Red Notice for the crimes of "Murder, Attempted Murder, Escape of a Convicted or Detained Person, Insult, Injury, Purchasing, Possessing or Carrying Firearms and Ammunition without a License, and Threat with a Weapon",
- O.Ç., who is wanted internationally with a Red Notice for the crime of "Resisting to Prevent Duty",
- İ.K., who is wanted nationally for the crimes of "Fire, Flood, Destruction, Sinking, Bombing, or Killing using Nuclear, Biological, or Chemical Weapons", and
- G.Y., who is wanted nationally for the crime of "Being a Member of the FETÖ Terrorist Organization", were captured in Georgia and their extradition to our country was ensured.
No matter which notice they are wanted with, or which country they have fled to, we will capture and bring back members of terrorist organizations, organized crime groups, and drug traffickers one by one. They will not escape from the Turkish Police. I thank our Ministry of Justice and the ministry staff involved in the operation. I congratulate our Interpol-Europol Department and the Artvin and Ardahan Provincial Police Departments."
