It has been revealed that a person holding a senior position at the French Ministry of Culture secretly administered diuretics to over 240 women during job interviews. According to the allegations, the individual mixed a strong diuretic substance into drinks and then went on long walks with female candidates. Some women were forced to relieve themselves in public areas, while the person's computer contained an Excel spreadsheet titled "Experiments."

France is shaken by an allegation involving a senior official working at the Ministry of Culture. The individual is accused of mixing chemicals into beverages such as tea and coffee offered to female candidates applying to the Ministry, where they previously served as a Human Resources Specialist.

HE PUT DIURETICS IN THE DRINKS OF FEMALE CANDIDATES

According to the allegations, the official would take long walks with female candidates after mixing a powerful diuretic substance into their drinks. It was reported that some female candidates experienced disturbing symptoms such as trembling hands, heart palpitations, and sweating during the interview, feeling an overwhelming need to use the restroom and having to urinate in public before reaching a toilet.

A FILE NAMED "EXPERIMENTS" WAS FOUND

It was stated that the incidents occurred between 2009 and 2018, with the number of targeted women exceeding 240. In the police investigation, a file named "Experiments / P Experiments" was found on the official's computer. This file contained records of each incident, including the date, dosage given, women's reactions, and the time of urination, along with various photographs.

In addition to the allegations, it was also claimed that the official secretly photographed the legs of female employees from under the desk.

EXPOSED BY A TIP-OFF

The incident came to light in 2018 when a colleague noticed the official secretly photographing a woman's leg and reported the situation to the police. Following this report, the Paris prosecutor's office launched an investigation.

In 2019, the official was formally investigated on charges of "administering harmful substances, abuse of public office, sexual assault, violation of privacy, and drug law violations." That same year, he was suspended from his position at the ministry and dismissed, but the legal process is still ongoing.

THE MINISTRY WAS NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE

While some women filed civil compensation lawsuits and won damages, it was stated that the ministry was not held institutionally responsible for the incidents. Victims complained about the delays in justice and the slow progress of the investigation.

STRIKING WORDS FROM THE VICTIMS

A female candidate, whose identity was not disclosed, recounted that she was taken for a walk after drinking coffee during the interview, and over time, the need to use the restroom became unbearable; she described her hands trembling, her heart racing, and sweating. When she honestly expressed her need to use the restroom, the walk continued, and she ultimately urinated in a public place. Some victims stated that they suffered from psychological trauma for a long time due to these experiences; they feared job searching, avoided Paris, and expressed that their lives were significantly affected by shame and fear.
