Giresun Mayor Fuat Köse was hospitalized with a suspected heart attack and underwent an angioplasty operation.
Köse stated in a post on his account on the social media platform of the US-based company X that he sought treatment at a private hospital during the day due to a suspected heart attack.
UNDERWENT ANGIOPLASTY
Köse expressed that he underwent an angioplasty operation at another hospital he was referred to and had a stent placed, adding that he was in intensive care as a precaution.
"MY HEALTH CONDITION IS GOOD"
Köse reported that his overall health condition is good and noted: "I sincerely thank all my friends who have been by my side, who called, and who sent messages during this process, the valuable people of Giresun who have not neglected their prayers, and the esteemed doctors and healthcare workers who contributed. I will be back in the field as soon as possible to serve our Giresun together with my colleagues. Wishing you all a blessed iftar, and please keep your good wishes coming."
